About this event

This is a FREE event open to all library staff working in Ohio.

As part of the emergency CARES Act legislation passed by the U. S. Congress earlier this spring, the State Library of Ohio has received stimulus grant funds to support libraries throughout the state to purchase equipment and supplies related to the current pandemic. To help distribute these funds, the State Library of Ohio has created the CARES Act Mini-Grant Program. The program provides $3000 in grant funds that can be used to purchase a wide variety of materials and tools from PPE and Plexiglas shields to signal boosters and washable keyboards/mice. Attendees to this session will have the opportunity to

• Discuss the requirements of the CARES Act Mini-Grant Program

• Explore the State Library of Ohio’s simple online application form

• Learn about other grant programs managed by the State Library of Ohio

Who Should Attend: Any library staff member working to procure equipment and supplies related to the current pandemic or any with an interest in the topic.
